Hello everyone its FordGTGuy or you might know me as Patton, my character in STO.  Me, Tommy and Tyran have been working on the website and I've decided to share with you some updates and features we've added.

• Picture and Video Gallery

Found on the main menu on the left of the website and on the bottom right is a preview gallery.  This gallery includes Star Trek Online and Hyperion Fleet related pictures and videos.  You can post a link to a picture or video you want featured in this gallery on the forum in the Picture and Video section.  Videos must be .flv format.

• Galaxy Map

Made by yours truly a link to this map can be found on the main menu to the left and the top menu under the banner.  This map allows you to see a large map of the entire traveable space in STO.  Above the map are links to the Sector Blocks and in those links are pages that include sectors and systems.  Using the search box found on every page of the website under the top menu you can type in a specific system and you will be taken directly to the sector block page the system is located in.

• Chat w/ STO & Chat w/ Fleet

Also found on the main menu both of these direct you to IRC channels.  Chat w/ STO directs you to the official Star Trek Online IRC channel while the Chat w/ Fleet takes you to a IRC channel meant only for Hyperion Fleet use.

• Ventrilo Status

This is a module on the rigth side of the website.  This module shows you everyone that is currently online in the Hyperion Fleet ventrilo channel.  It also shows you the IP Port and Hostname needed to login to our ventrilo channel.

• Officer's Manual & Cadet's Test

This page contains two embedded pdf files that will help Cadets in the Hyperion Fleet take the test in order to be promoted in our fleet.  The manual contains some interesting information about the fleet and the ranking officers not to mention our rank system.  You can find a link to this page in the top menu.

• Event Calendar

This calendar is found on the main menu to the left side of the website.  You will see training dates and battleground events.  This will be more frequently used in future operations of this fleet and website.

• Forums

The forum is now dressed up with a Star Trek theme and contains plenty of different sections to allow you to introduce yourself and share your opinion on multiple discussions.  You can also use the forums to post suggestions for the website and forum.

• Even More!

The Website also contains links to the Star Trek Online official website and Star Trek Online Wikipedia.  There are browser games to keep yourself entertained while waiting for the server to come back up on the left side of the website under the main menu.  Ventrilo donations allow you to donate to the monthly cost of the Hyperion Fleet ventrilo channel any donations would be very helpful.
